Whistleblowing reporting channel

Our internal Whistleblowing channel offers a confidential channel for reporting a suspected misconduct within Meriaura Group to be internally investigated.

We use the Whisteblowing reporting channel to collect information about possible problems in our operations. Through the channel, our personnel can anonymously and securely report their suspicions or observed violations covered by the Whistleblower Protection Act.

The whistleblowing service is provided by an external partner, Keskuskauppakamari (Finland Chamber of Commerce). All reports are processed confidentially by limited processors, protecting the privacy of both the person making the report and the target.

The reporting channel is technically implemented in such a way that the notifier cannot be identified if one wishes to make the notification anonymously. You can also leave your contact information in the reporting channel. The processing of personal data complies with the obligations of the General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679.

The whistleblower does not have to have evidence to support his or her suspicions, but reports must always be made honestly and in good faith. Suspected misconduct should be reported in as much detail as possible so that the matter can be investigated.

The company’s current employees can make a report in Meriaura Group’s Whistleblowing channel. Other parties covered by the Whistleblower Protection Act can submit their reports to the notification channel maintained by the Office of the Chancellor of Justice. More detailed instructions for the notification channel maintained by the Office of the Chancellor of Justice can be found at https://oikeuskansleri.fi/en/about-whistleblower-protection.

The Whistleblowing channel is not a general feedback channel. You can give usual feedback about our services and operations by e-mail.
