Savo-Solar delivers collector field to Jyderup district heating plant

Savo-Solar has signed a contract on the delivery of a solar collector field to Jyderup district heating plant in Denmark. The value of the contract is approximately EUR 1.5 million and the delivery is scheduled to take place during the autumn of 2016. Jyderup district heating plant is owned by the energy company Fors A/S, which also operates another two district heating plants in Denmark.

Managing Director Jari Varjotie: “We are very pleased to sign the contract with Fors A/S as it is yet another proof of our competitive edge in the challenging market in Denmark.  The main criteria when choosing the collector supplier were the energy price and energy density. With our latest product development, the double-glazed collector, we were able to offer the customer the most economical solution. “
