Savo-Solar delivers collector field to solar thermal project in Søllested
Savo-Solar will deliver a solar collector field to the district heating plant in Søllested, Denmark. The collector field will be installed during May-August this year. The value of Savo-Solar’s delivery is approximately EUR 0.7 million. Søllested district heating plant is owned by the Danish energy company Lolland Varme A/S, which is part of Lolland Forsyning A/S.
The delivery is part of the co-operation between Savo-Solar and Dansk Energi Service (DES). The companies launched a co-operation agreement in 2015, covering the sales and development of full turn-key solar thermal installations in Denmark. Dansk Energi Service offers energy solutions and maintenance services, primarily for district heating, and is one of the major players in this field in Denmark.
Managing Director Jari Varjotie: “The installation in Søllested is strong proof of the mutual benefits of the co-operation agreement between Savo-Solar and Dansk Energi Service. An increasing number of energy companies want to source their equipment based on turn-key deliveries, allowing them to get the entire system from one single supplier. The products and technologies of Savo-Solar and Dansk Energi Service are complementing each other and the companies can in co-operation offer complete solutions in solar thermal with a stronger competitive edge.”
